Things to Consider about Motorised Blinds

• If you are happy manually operating your blinds, you may simply not want this option
• There is an additional cost for the motors
• If you’re worried that you’re no good with technology (this wouldn’t be an issue as we do all the set-up for you – if you can use a remote control for your TV, then you can operate our motorised blinds)
• You might not be able to recharge them yourself – if this is a concern, we can also hardwire them to the mains or fit a small solar panel in your window, so it stays charged and you won’t have to worry

Motorised Blinds, electric blinds or remote-controlled blinds add that extra touch of luxury.

You can make your life that little bit easier by having motorised blinds. Most blinds can now be built with a motor inside, so you can operate them using a remote control or even an app on a smartphone or tablet. We most commonly fit battery-operated motors with a built-in lithium rechargeable battery. However, we also sell hard-wired motors which are linked directly to your mains, so you never have to charge them.

How should I care for my motorised blinds?

All our motorised blinds come with a rechargeable lithium battery and have no cables, leads or wires so are incredibly easy to maintain, hassle-free to fit and keep your windows looking neat and tidy.

To keep your motorised blinds free from dust, you can dust them down with a feather duster or cloth, or vacuum them with an upholstery brush attachment. Exact care instructions depend on the style of blind and material you choose, but one of our experts can advise on how to care for your specific blinds during your consultation.
