Made-to-Measure Roller Blinds
Expert measuring and fitting included.
Same product, same service. We'll match the price.
Roller blinds have always been a popular choice for customers as they can be rolled up and out of the way during the day, leaving your windows clear and allowing plenty of light in, and then rolled back down in the evening when you want some privacy.
One of the best things about roller blinds is the huge selection of different fabrics, patterns, textures, colours, and styles that are available – meaning you should easily be able to find something for every room in the home. They can also be customised to match your décor with a wide range of accessories, bottom bars and finishes.
Our made-to-measure roller blinds are all made by our expert staff in our local factory. Therefore, we can survey and then install your new roller blinds, usually in around 1-2 weeks’ time from start to finish.
We do have a selection of roller blind fabrics in stock (limited colours only) that can be made and fitted the next day after the survey. This is only available upon special request and is subject to an additional fee.
At Excell Blinds, safety is our top priority. All our blinds and shutters are designed with safety-first principles, ensuring they meet the highest standards for child and family protection. We are committed to complying with the latest child safety regulations and guidelines, as outlined by the British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA) and the “Make it Safe” campaign. Our products feature safety enhancements such as cordless options, tensioned systems, and compliant cord safety devices to minimize risks in your home.
For more information about keeping your blinds and shutters safe, we recommend visiting the BBSA’s child safety page and the Make It Safe campaign. These resources provide valuable guidance to ensure your home remains a secure and comfortable environment for everyone.
The cost depends on the width and height of the blind you need. See the basic costing guide below.
Estimated prices for roller blinds on seven windows will range between £250 – £500 for our own range or about £350-£800 for our more custom range. (Dependent on size and style selected, more if having any added extras, such as motors and cassettes).
No. Blackout blinds block about 95% of the light, no light passes through the fabric itself. However, there is some light bleed that comes around all edges – around 15-20mm.
For 99% blackout blinds try our Bloc roller blinds which include a frame to block light around the gaps (not suitable for bay windows).
Approximately 1 week, however, this depends on the fabric chosen.
Yes, but this is only available upon special request and from fabrics within our own range.
Roller blinds can be cleaned by removing the surface dust with a soft synthetic or feather duster, or they can be vacuumed using an upholstery brush attachment. Any stains should be removed as soon as possible, and stains and dirt can be removed using a damp cloth or sponge. A non-synthetic detergent may also be added to lukewarm water if required. Do not scrub or rub hard as the protective coating may become damaged, and do not immerse the blinds in water.
