Will my shutters be blackout?
They will darken the room more than almost every other blind. While no light passes through the actual shutter material, there is light bleed from the small gaps between the slats and the doors. These gaps must be there in order for the louvres/doors to open and close freely.
How long will they take to install?
On average, it takes around 1 hour per shutter to install. This is dependent on several factors, such as the size of the blind and access to the window.
How much do bay window shutters cost?
From £150 – £600 per window (Can be more depending on size and style)
£600-1000 per large window (Can be more depending on size and style)
How should I care for my bay window shutters?
Shutters are low maintenance and incredibly easy to clean. To keep them free from dust, clean them using a feather duster or vacuum with an upholstery brush attachment. They can also be wiped down with a dry or damp cloth.
