However, there is very little difference between the real wood and faux wood in terms of the finished look. Therefore, faux wood is now more popular than real wood, as it looks very similar but is about 15% less expensive than real wood.
Yes, they can. As it’s made from a natural material, it can expand and contract a little when heated and cooled. However, this is usually minimal. Long-term exposure to humidity can cause them to absorb the moisture from the air and swell, causing warpage. For this reason, Wooden Venetian blinds are not recommended for bathrooms or areas of high humidity.
Yes, they can, but it depends entirely on the colour chosen. The darker the colour, the darker the room will appear. If you opt for a light colour like white or a pale wood, this can actually brighten a room up.
No, they are not blackout, however they will darken a room significantly. There is some light bleed between the slats and around the edges of the blind. If blackout is needed, we can fit a blackout roller blind behind the wooden Venetian blinds for additional darkness. For best blackout results, pair them with a roman blind or a curtain.
